This short video reframes what it means to respond to crises, moving beyond conventional narratives of conflict and war. Marking 10 years of feminist crisis response by Global Fund for Women, it highlights their understanding of crisis, be it economic collapse, environmental disaster, or systemic violence.

Drawn from real stories shared by the Global Fund for Women, the video underscores the importance of feminist-led responses. Their work offers a holistic perspective on how crises disproportionately affect women, girls, and individuals of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, expressions, and sex characteristics — groups most at risk of being overlooked by traditional aid efforts. Their work encompasses both immediate relief and long-term recovery, addressing not only present needs but also envisioning what justice looks like beyond the crisis.

This video is a portrait of resilience, solidarity, and a distinctly feminist approach to crisis response.
